Photography is all about light. When your images exude light rather than just reflect it, they come alive. That is luminosity. It grabs your attention and says LOOK AT ME!

My biggest epiphany in photography was the moment I realised that our images don’t use light, they are of light — the light reflected off the subjects we are making images of.
